This is a 2hr CPR course for those who do not need training in defibrillation.

Aim of course: To provide training in CPR, defibrillation and medical emergencies following the Quality Standards:Primary dental care (Resuscitation Council)

Objective(s) of course: Student to recognise and treat the patient using DRABC approach. Student to understand and demonstrate the treatment procedure following cardiac arrest in dental facilities for adults and children. Including CPR and use of AED and simple airway maintenance.

Learning content: This course is intended to create an understanding of resuscitation practice to reduce potential risk factors to both patients and members of the dental team

Development Outcomes: This CPD course meets the criteria for GDC’s development outcomes C

Public/Open course - EFAW

This is a one-day (6hr) duration emergency first aid at work course as set out by the HSE. Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

This ON SITE training is a one-day (6hr) duration emergency first aid at work course as set out by the HSE. Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. Public/Open Course - FAW

This is a three-day (18hr) duration first aid at work course as set out by the HSE. First Aid at Work (FAW) training enables a first-aider to give first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work and also equips the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.

This is a half-day (3hr) duration first aid course as set out by the HSE. This annual update is used mid-qualification for the FAW (First Aid at Work) and EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) qualifications.
