On-Site AED
This is a 2hr AED course for those who have already had training in CPR
Aim of course: To provide training in CPR, defibrillation and medical emergencies following the Quality Standards:Primary dental care (Resuscitation Council)
Objective(s) of course: Student to recognise and treat the patient using DRABC approach. Student to understand and demonstrate the treatment procedure following cardiac arrest in dental facilities for adults and children. Including CPR and use of AED and simple airway maintenance.
Learning content: This course is intended to create an understanding of resuscitation practice to reduce potential risk factors to both patients and members of the dental team
