This is a 3hr CPR course for those who do NOT need training in defibrillation.

This includes one hour training in epipen use as well as minor cuts bumps and bruises.

The trainee will be able to establish a safe environment and the need for CPR on an adult or child.

  • Candidate will be able to identify potential sources of danger
  • Candidate will be able to identify causes of unconsciousness
  • Candidate will be able to list at least four common causes of cardiac arrest
  • Candidate will be able to describe the main signs of cardiac arrest

By the end of the session the trainee will be able to demonstrate CPR, as a lone rescuer, in a simulated incident on an appropriate resuscitation training manikin.

The trainee must be able to perform CPR for at least two minutes.
